Recording
MRadio and MPhone channels, ETC audio, Cisco Built-in-Bridge and Solacom SIP calls. Each recorder runs as its own service, so one going down doesn't stop the others.
Search and Playback
Find calls by date and time, channel, alias, unit ID or paging tone. The waveform player has speed control, volume up to 200% and auto-play of the next call.
Transcription
Recordings are transcribed with timestamps, so you can read through a call before you listen to it. Transcripts are included when you export a report.
Paging Tones
Two-tone and other paging patterns are decoded in the background. Search for a tone to see every time a station or unit was paged.
Emergencies and GPS
On MRadio, calls made during a radio emergency are marked in red, and calls with a reported position have a pin that opens the location on a map.
Reports
Call volume, trends and busy-hour heatmaps by channel or radio. Export recordings and reports as a ZIP for records requests or incident review.
Runs on your server
RockRecorder installs as a package on Debian Linux, on your own hardware or a virtual machine. Recordings stay on your network, on the system drive or a dedicated one. Old recordings are cleaned up each day by age and total size, so you don't run out of room.
Works on phones
Supervisors can open recordings on a phone: filter by channel and date, search, tap to play, and keep listening with the screen locked. Tablets get the full desktop site.
